She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Viste and Olene Viste; her siblings, Roy, Woodrow, Lloyd, Ove, Alyce Ballard Showers and Louise Seamen; and her grandson Christopher Kvien.
She is survived by: her aunt Mattie Williams; her husband Irving Kvien; her children, Susan Williams of Excelsior, MN, Steven Kvien (Rexene) of Arvada, CO, David (Loleta), Sioux Falls and Sheri Rodgers of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Amanda Williams, Eliza Williams (Michael Peterson), Ben Williams (Jennifer), Sara Jensen (Ethan), Andrew Kvien, Matthew Kvien (Rachel) and Jeff Kvien; and her great grandchildren, Raven, Magnus, Beryl, Marigold and Kelley.
Memorials may be made in Irene's honor to the El Riad Temple or First Lutheran Church.
