She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Ollie (Klaahsen); her husband Eldon Joseph Heikes; and her sisters-in-law, Verla Brommer, Twyla Heikes and Barbara Heikes.
She is survived by: her son Joel Heikes of Austin, Texas; and her brother Elvin Duitsman of George, Iowa.
