She was predeceased by: her parents, William Penn and Catherine Penn (Mayer); her husband Richard Novak; and her stepgrandson Jason. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Oliphant (Roger), Robert Novak (Cathryn) and Craig Novak (LeAnn); her sister Moveda Busby (Doyle); her grandchildren, Chad, Eric (Katy), Ashlee (John), Nikki (Jared) and Riley; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Maverick, Dax, Adi and Maddox; her stepgrandsons, Jeffry (Chris) and Josh (Raven); and her great great grandchildren, Zane, Grace, Harper and Donnie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Cemetery (300 N Chapel Hill Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
