He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Pitz and Clara Pitz (Spiel). He is survived by: his wife Marie Pitz of Sioux Falls; and his children, Dennis Pitz (Sherri) of Jefferson, SD, Steven Pitz (Candy) of Sioux Falls, David Pitz (Linda) of Garretson, SD, Donna Hauk (Jim) of Deltona, FL, Terry Pitz of Slayton, MN, Kevin Pitz of Fort Denaud, FL, Cindy Pitz (Mitch Anderson) of Morro Bay, CA and Leslie Pitz (Stacie) of Grantsville, UT.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home—downtown (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
