It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert George Scheitel Jr. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Scheitel and Dorothy Scheitel (Schye); his siblings, Ruth Thompson, Virginia, David, Charles, Robert and Dwight Scheitel; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Ann Nasers; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Niebeling, Al Keppers, John Farley, James, George, Paul Nasers, Sandy Scheitel, Vera and Carolyn Nasers; and his niece Jodie Scheitel.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Nasers (Kay); his children, Greg (Kari) of Windom, MN, Jill of Worthington, MN, Chad (Breanne) of Minneapolis, MN and Julie Timmerman (Shane) of Worthington, MN; his grandchildren, Daniel (Aundrea), Carrie (Brandon), Anthony, Brandie and Emily (Alexander); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Isabella; his grandchildren, Grace, Ava, Maya, Brooklyn, Ezekiel and Anyah; his sisters, Doris Farley of Lake Havasu, AZ, Millie Niebeling of Welch, MN and Florence Keppers of St. Paul, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Donnie Thompson of St. Paul, MN, Linda Scheitel of Red Wing, MN, Patricia Moritz of Redwood Falls, MN, Teresa Nasers, Leila Gilbert Nasers of Worthington, MN and Shirley Wagner (Larry) of Heron Lake, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
