He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dohman and Agnes Dohman (Kriech); his wife Catherine Dohman; his daughter Joan Kautz; his great grandchildren, Joseph Collins and Ethan Christy; and his siblings, Margaret Dohman, Francis Dohman, William Dohman, Elizabeth Marx, Dorothy Gerding, Berdeen Coody, Mary Ann Thompson, Robert Dohman, Elaine Reinhardt and Richard Dohman.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Catherine Kaiser; his children, Marlys Mardian (Wayne) of Aberdeen, Donna Collins (Rick) of Sioux Falls, Sally Haring (David) of Arlington, VA, Bruce Dohman of Pierre and Charles Dohman of Clark; his grandchildren, Mary Christy (Josh), Laura Mardian, Eric Collins (Trisha), Mark Collins (Tammy), Tim Collins (Kim), Patrick Kautz, Rachal Kautz, Jenelle Simque, Kristi Kautz, Julia James, Charles Kautz, David Kautz, Greg Kautz (Mar Saldaña), Nicholas Haring (Katie), Steven Haring (Katherine) and Ora Dohman; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Reagan, Olivia, Carly, Ashton, Lena, Violet, Madison, Sophie, Brielle, Morgan, Dustin and Kaylie; his brother Les Dohman (Carol) of Groton; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Dohman of Aberdeen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
