With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helyn W Thompson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Wood and Rose Wood (Sapp); her husband Tommy Thompson; her siblings, Dr. Ruthie Delorey (Bob), Theodore "Ted" Wood (Lorry), Woody Wood (Artis) and Ed Wood (Maxine); her nephews, Patrick Wood and Ed Wood; and her niece Rosemarie Brown.
