He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Nelson and Genavy Nelson (Mills); his former wife Dorothy Ann Cody; his wife Joyce Nelson; his sons, Terry Nelson (Denise) of Steamboat Springs, CO and Jeff Nelson (Brenda); his grandchildren, Krista Newton (Ian) and Jamie Nelson; his great grandchildren, Jack and Luke; and his brother Raymond.
Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, The American Legion Post 15, or the Sertoma Club.
