He is survived by: his son Siberia; his wife Shirley Koenekamp Swier; his children, James Jones (Susan) of Larkspur, CO, Joni Bunde (Todd) of Lyons, SD, Jayne Jones of Minnetrista, MN, Bret Jones (Veronica) of Smartsville, CA and Susan Jones (Chris Flesche) of Plymouth, MN; his stepchildren, Kevin Swier (Zenash) of Chicago, IL, Kim Wampler Sentak (Mike) of Shallotte, NC and Kraig Swier (Janet) of Colton, SD; his stepdaughter-in-law Sandy Swier of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Greg, Kari, Chris, Jacob, Josh, Sarah, Rachel, Ben, Suzi, Jaclyn, Addison, Jennifer, Dustin, Lindsey, Becca, John, Sam and Nebie; and his brother Charlie Jones (Donna) of Colton, SD.. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
