He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gladys and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; and his sons, Dave (Donna), Mark (Sonja), Boise, Tim of Sioux Falls, Tom (Nancy) and Sioux Falls. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the H Krueger Brass Music Scholarship Fund at Augustana University (2001 S. Summit, Sioux Falls, SD, 57197).
