He is survived by: his daughter Charis Poppens (David); his granddaughter Katie Taite; his son-in-law Craig Hinker (Darcey); his grandchildren, Brian Poppens (Desiree), Brenda Poppens (Sam Nicolai), Rebecka Hinker, Christopher Hinker (Tosha) and Ashley Hinker; his sister Norma; and his sisters-in-law, Bette Carlson and Eunice Peters.
