He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Barz and Mabel Barz (Brouwer); his wife Dora; his son Matthew; his son-in-law Michael Dvorak; his brother Graydon Barz; and his sister-in-law Marlene Barz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christa Duncanson (Jeff) of Brandon and Carrie Dvorak of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Riley Duncanson, Kailee Duncanson (Braxton Trowbridge), Caitlin Ross (Jarred), Mackenzie Dvorak, Carley Metz (Collin) and Findley Dvorak; his great grandchildren, Ravae, Baer Metz, Quinlan and Harlow Ross; his sister Myrna Main (Sam); his niece Kerstin Kaiser (Jerry); and his nephew Graydon Jr. Barz (Michele Manfreda).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
