He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pietz and Elma Pietz (Kirsch); his daughter Krystal Beuckens; and his siblings, Vilmer Pietz, Ivan Pietz, LaVerna Guericke, Arlene Rieger, Glendora Bartunek and JoAnn Kirschenman.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Pietz (Klinghagen); his son Kerwin Pietz (Jennifer Haskell); his son-in-law Brian Beuckens; his grandchildren, Alexandra Wollman (Adam), Kyler Pietz, Kassandra Hewitt (Anthony), Isabella Barbee (Gunnar) and Gabriella Beuckens Rickert (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Lincoln Wollman, Callan Wollman, Liliana Beuckens-Conlan, Matilda Beuckens-Conlan, Sunnie Barbee and Noah Rickert; and his siblings, Milbert Pietz, MayDene Fuerst, Darryl Pietz, Lola Baum, Martin Pietz and Larry Pietz.
