He is survived by: his parents, William "Bill" Dale Sims and Marguerite "Rite" Marie Sims (Kulhavy); his daughters, Haily Lynn Sims (Dan Erfman) and Kristen Marie Hoefert (Sims); his grandchildren, Preslee Marie Hoefert and Oliver William Hoefert; his siblings, Brenda Marie Sims (Ione Johnson) and Jeffery Dale Sims; his nephews, Jamie William Sims (Elle Score) and Bruce William Sims; and his niece Gracelyn Marie Sims.
