She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Lais and Martha Lais (Fritz); her husband Charles Persing; her siblings, Francis, Urban, Ralph, Lawrence, Martin, Leander and Mildred Balk (Lais); and her son-in-law Walter Ehli.
She is survived by: her son Steven (Carol); her brother Alfred; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Ehli, Theresa (Teri), Peter Goff, Steven Persing and Carol Serie; her caregivers, Ruth, Jim Morris, Ken and Germain Persing (Leckband); her grandchildren, Chuck, Gina Bohlke, Jenny Bohlke, Michael Grinder, Kylee Persing, Eric Swenson, Trenton Persing, Katie (Irish) and Jason Smith; and her great grandchildren, Justin and Christian Bohlke.
