He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Swanstrom; his siblings, Marlys Gilmore of Calistoga, CA and Dale of Sacramento, CA; his children, Stan Carlson (Gwen) of Rochester, MN, Leroy Carlson (Marla) of East Troy, WI, Sue Smith (Scott) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Patti Guthrie (Marshall), Dave Carlson (Rochelle) of Fitchburg, WI and Eileen Scaringi (Paul) of Duluth, MN; and his grandchildren, Dave Carlson (Cherry), Brian Carlson (Melanie), Deborah Hughes (Joe), Katie Ver Lee (Mike), Mark Smith (Helen), Mike Guthrie (Christina), Timothy Carlson (Amanda) and Peter Carlson. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
