With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Lee Shields Sr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn C. White Shirt and William C. Shields; and his children, Beau Shields, Shelly Archambeau, Cody Shields and Faron Cooke.
He is survived by: his children, Little Rita Flood (Pinky), Christa Shields, LeeAnne Shields, Gordon Shields Jr., Jason Shields and Bill Shields; and his siblings, Judy Hawk, Letha Hare, Mary Morrow, Frank Sanchez, Anita Sanchez, Morris Sanchez and Dona Chopper. He is also survived by his children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
