He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friends, Al Schock, Ozzie Schock, Bob Beck, Nordica Meats, Boomers Restaurant and Sycamore; his son David Lyng (Mary); his grandsons, Scott Tripp (Patricia), Steve Tripp (Nicole), Jay Tripp (Ashley) and Brent Lyng (Amy Sagness); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Cade, Clay, Braeden, Ava, Evan, Jayden, Breille, Donavon and Colton; his brother-in-law Kenneth Gross of Garretson, SD; his parents, Fred Lyng and Olga Lyng; his wife Marjorie Lyng; his siblings, Kenneth Lyng (Carole), Arlo Lyng, Marjorie Kirby (Tom), Doris Clark (Johnny) and Florence Ippolito (Rocky); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Gross and Robert Gross. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
Gordon's family requests that memorials be directed to Faith United Church/Audio Visual Productions in Brandon, SD or Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Organization.
