She was predeceased by: her parents, Nordahl Rude and Anna Rude (Walter Potthoff) of Eau Claire, WI; and her siblings, Arline Rude, Joyce Boehlke (Dick), John and Julius Rude.
She is survived by: her spouse Walt; her daughters, Julie Dooner (Blane) and Wendy Olson (David); her grandchildren, Samuel (Mihaela), Elisa, Amelia, Josiah and Micah; and her great grandchildren, Clara and Elora. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
