She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave "Happy" and Madeline Nelson; her husbands, James Johnson and Leo "Boo" Plut; her brother Gordon Nelson; her nephew David Nelson; and her nieces, Marita Steffen and Lynn Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Johnson (Laurie) of Maple Grove, MN, Paul Johnson (Roberta), Elizabeth Anderson and Sonja Lindsay (Todd); her grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Alissa Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Kathryn Hill (Joshua), Kevin Anderson, Kristoffer Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Tate Lindsay and Brooke Lindsay; her siblings, Mervyn Nelson (Phyllis) and Murial Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Emojean Nelson, Gloria Johnson, Duane Aden and David Johnson (Sandy); and her close friends, Paul Julson, Jeff and Susan Sylliaasen.
