With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Erhardt Buehner of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Adam Buehner and Frieda Johanna Rose; his wife Elsie Marie Harms; and his brothers, Hugo, Leonhard, Oliver and Luverne.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Kephart (Curt) of North Mankato, MN, Colleen Johnson (Mark) of Sioux Falls, SD and Rhonda Trautmann (Michael) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Jenna Westerberg (Jason), Joshua Heetland (Julie), Adam Kephart (Elizabeth Forman), Andrew Johnson (Katie) and Matthew Johnson (Kayleigh); and his great grandchild Gracelyn Heetland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School..
