It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude France of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Pinsonfork, Kentucky, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Scott and Trudy Scott; her siblings, Lillian Riggs, Wendall Scott, Edith Goins, Kenneth Scott and Jenny Smith; her son-in-law Jim Hunnel; her parents-in-law, Clair and Velda France; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd France and John France (Glen).
She is survived by: her children, Arthur France and Linda Hunnel; her granddaughters, Tamara Sanchez (Jose) of Dallas, TX and Amber Hunnel; her great grandchildren, Brayden Thompson and Noah Sanchez of Dallas, TX; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy France and Nila France. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Sanford Hospice Cottages, Sioux Falls, in honor of the earthly angels who work there providing dignity and compassion.
