With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerrit Neil Dresselhuis of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dresselhuis and Thelma Dresselhuis (Hansen); his sister Ellen Dresselhuis; and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Jackie Friedrichs.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Friedrichs; his children, Lynette Hildring (David) and Neil Dresselhuis (Delana); his grandchildren, Corey Hildring and Tiffany Dresselhuis; and his stepgrandchildren, Lance Fisher, Kortney Jacobson (Tanner) and John Fisher.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A wake was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (1600 S Marion Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57106).
