It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Shafer (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shafer and Laura Shafer (Sunderman); his brothers, Ed, Ken and Harold (Alf); and his parents-in-law, Dan and Rose Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; and his grandchildren, Michael and Emily.
A private family ceremony was held because of COVID-19 and was followed by burial at St. Michael Cemetery in Sioux Falls. barnett-lewis. com.
