It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George David Olson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on May 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. W. D. and Isabel Olson (Reiber); his wife Joan E. Olson (Augustana) of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Dr. Christopher Olson (Linda) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jane Bell (Bryce) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Britta Olson (Cameron Peterson), Krista Olson, Sarah Bell and Carter Bell; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Olson of Sioux Falls and Bonnie Steen (Alan) of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Bill Olson, Charles Allen Olson, Glenn Olson and Jane Nebeker; and his pets, Joey, Jamie, Ginger, Rascal and Lucky. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
