It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Jean Brown (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKillip and Berniece McKillip (Snapp); and her siblings, James, Gary, Kerry, John and Carolyn.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Jean; her grandson David William; her husband Ralph Brown of Tea, SD; her children, Cindy Nelson (Bill) of Tea, SD and David Brown (Cindie) of Santa Maria, CA; her siblings, Sharon Lewis (Forrest) of Pringle, SD, Betty Best, Barb Bradfield (Ken), Kathy Best, Linda Hanson (Jim), Bill McKillip (Sharon) of Wentworth, SD, Bob McKillip, Mike McKillip (Sharon), Barry McKillip (Colleen), Mark McKillip (Dawn) and Coeur; and her siblings-in-law, Linda McKillip of Sioux Falls, SD and Gary Jensen (Rikki) of Custer, SD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19 a private family memorial service will be held in September.
