It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Owen Burley of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alvin Burley; his children, Paula Burley of Williamsburg, VA, Brent Moonen (Rebecca) of Temecula, CA and Kristina Hinson (Carl) of Herriman, UT; his grandsons, Jake, Andy, Dylan and Tyler; his mother Ellen Burley-Merrigan of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Gaylord "Cork" Burley (Shirley) of Sioux Falls, Steve Burley of Sioux Falls, Debbie Bertsch (Dean) of Sioux Falls, Grace Wilson (Tom Simpson) of Sioux Falls and Diane Miller (Cory) of Woodbury, MN; his stepfather Maurice Merrigan; and also Dotti. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, as well as countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
