He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwood Nelson and Gladys Nelson (Christensen); his sister Gail Nielsen (Nelson); and his brother-in-law Larry Nielsen. He is survived by: his children, Angela of Norwalk, CT, Kelly (Ted Gustafson) of Sioux Falls, Emily of San Francisco, CA and David of Viborg; and his wife Connie Hamberger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
