He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Murfield and Marjorie Murfield (Quissel); his stepmother Edith Murfield; and his brother-in-law Russell Lowell. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Murfield of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Lori Bloom (Christopher) of Huntsville, AL and Michael Murfield (Mary Jane Weber) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Hannah, Claudia and Wyatt Bloom; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Lowell of Sioux Falls, SD and Myra Feay (Larry) of Sioux Falls, SD.
