He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Schulte of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Holly Epperson (Richard) of Olive Branch, MS, Heidi Thomas (William) of Sioux Falls, SD and John Cummings (Nichole) of Edina, MN; his grandchildren, Corey Epperson (Amy), Kayla Epperson, Ethan Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Camden Thomas, Brooklyn Thomas, Jazmyn Thomas, Riley Cummings (Beth), Raina Cummings and Rivden Cummings; and his siblings, Glenda Carlson of Glendale, AZ, Kristi Bolstad (Eric) of Bentonville, AR and Greg Cummings (Laura) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His contributions to the field left a lasting impact, and he will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his profession.
