He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Swenson and Gena Swenson (Johnson); and his sister Laurel Gabel. He is survived by: his wife Janice Cadwell of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Lisa Freiberg (Walt) of Harrisburg, SD, Carol Hinrickson (Clyde) of Tea, SD and Evan "Bud" Swenson (Christi) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister Sandra Swenson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
