He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Sarutzki and Margaret Heckenlaible (Finck); his stepfather Ewald Heckenlaible; his siblings, Charlie Sarutzki, Floyd Sarutzki, Bobby Sarutzki, Darlene Polzin (Bob) and Betty Thompson; and his brother-in-law Dennis Thorell.
He is survived by: his sisters, Alice Hill of Sioux Falls, SD and Karen Thorell of Shawnee Mission, KS; and his sister-in-law Kathy Sarutzki of Sioux Falls, SD.
