He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hansen and Naomi Hansen; his son Craig; and his sisters, Mary and Edna.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Hansen; his daughters, Christine Crary (Bradley), Cathleen Vrchota (Ken) and Carolyn Zachariason (James); and his grandchild Caitlin Persky (Eli). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
