He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth of Sioux Falls; his children, Bradley Haiar of Washington, DC and Nicole Holmes (Kevin) of Wahiawa, HI; his grandchildren, Eva, Leo and Jude; his son Kevin Haiar (Jessica) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Michael and Thomas; and his siblings, Don Haiar (Connie) of Hudson, CO, Leroy Haiar (Betty) of Spearfish, SD, Richard Haiar (Sally) of Wilson, MI, Diane Stoebner (Elton) of Sioux Falls, Elaine Fox (Tom) of Sioux Falls, Lyle Haiar (Marilyn) of Corsica, SD, Lynn Haiar (Diane) of Alexandria, SD and Janine VanEmmerik (Leland) of Salem, SD.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to Dougherty Hospice.
