Lee (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Holger Jacobsen and Martha Jacobsen (Bendixen); her husband Dean Lee; and her sister Evelyn Dains. She is survived by: her children, Susan Lee-Jirik (Richard Jirik) of Taylorsville, UT, Marty Buckneberg (Dean) of Sioux Falls, Jeff Lee (Barb) of Buckeye, AZ and Allison Garry (Steve) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Chris Eaves, Ryan Garry (Teresa), Michael Buckneberg (Krystal), Nick Garry (Sara), Travis Garry (Karrie), Matthew Buckneberg (Danielle), Mark Garry (Julie), Andy Buckneberg (Ali), Chelsea Hare (Tyler), Charlie Lee and John Lee; and her sister Mary Francis "Sancy" Smith of Little Rock, CA.. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ava's Hospice House, care of the Sanford Health Foundation in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
