She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred M. Anderson and Abby Anderson (Schneiderman); and her sister Janice Thue. She is survived by: her husband George; her son David Boom (Laurie) of Montrose, SD; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Newman (Matt) of Sioux Falls, SD, Sara Wilson (Brendan) of Valley City, ND, Naomi Shafer of Hartford, SD and Jacob Boom (Carly) of Montrose, SD.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Side Lutheran Church (1300 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
