We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2023, at the age of 94, Faith Mildred Kanter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schwantes and Betty Schwantes; her husband Marvin Kanter; her sister Corinne Wegner (Schwantes); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Wegner (Kanter), Harold Wegner and Paul Wegner.
She is survived by: her children, Jean St (Richard), Janet Lindemann (Larry) of Sioux Falls, SD and John Kanter (Nancy) of Rhinelander, WI; her brother Eugene Schwantes (Shirley) of Pearland, TX; her sister-in-law Ellen Schwantes of Waukesha, WI.; her grandchildren, Samuel St (Kylie), Sarajean St. John, Christopher St. John, Eric Lindemann, Laura Schaefer (Kyle), Erin Laabs (Jonathan), Benjamin Kanter (Rachel), Anna Kanter and Bethany Kanter; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Mariah, Garrett Laabs, Hannah and Abigail Kanter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
