In loving memory of Evonne Johnson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who departed this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Evonne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hotchkiss and Lena Hotchkiss (Dalaski); her husband Don; her sons, Stan and Leroy; and her grandsons, Jimmy, Gary Steven, Tony, Aaron and Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Fee (Wally) of Harrisburg, Janet Gannon (Larry) of Dell Rapids, Greg Johnson of Sioux Falls, Gary Johnson (Karalee) of Scotland, Roxanne Putnam of Sioux Falls and Kevin Johnson of Alcester; and her siblings, Gilbert Hotchkiss of Phoenix, AZ and Joyce Mees of Wessington Springs. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (901 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Harrisburg United Methodist Church (204 Grand Ave, Harrisburg, SD 57032).
