Evelyn Kay Meier Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025, at the age of 84, Evelyn Kay Meier of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, August Meier and Dorothy Meier (Scribner) of Devil's Lake; her siblings, Beverly LaBeau and Dakota Wells; and her nephews, David Dorman, Shaun Meier and Anthony Hansen.

She is survived by: her sisters, Marlis Hansen and Shirlee Meier; and her nieces and nephews, John Hansen, Luc Desroches, Pamela Frost, Bette Dorman, Duane Dorman, Roger Schmidt and Laurie Hansen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home – Downtown Chapel (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1400 S Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105).
