She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Burch and Gladys Burch (Quirk); her husband Larry Gertsema; and her brothers, Jerry Burch, Darrold Burch and LeRoy Burch.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Gertsema (Kandy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Dean Gertsema (Carrie) of Watertown, SD, Brenda Claussen (Doug) of Sioux Falls, SD, Willie Gertsema (Tammy) of Milbank, SD, Robert Gertsema (Julie) of Milbank, SD, Tony Gertsema (Joy) of Milbank, SD and Nathan Gertsema (Dawn) of Watertown, SD; and her siblings, Raymond Burch (Kris) of Ruthton, MN, Andy Burch (Cindy) of Slayton, MN, Richard Burch of Pipestone, MN, Catherine Huizenga of Missouri, Judy Buss (Roy) of Luverne, MN and Carol Boomgaarden (Ken) of Pipestone, MN.
