He is survived by: his children, John (Gwen) of Wentworth, SD, Mary Cockrum (Rob) of Sioux Falls, SD, Phyllis Hanisch (Chris) of Renner, SD and Eugene Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Mariah Oyen (Austin) of Iowa City, IA, Lauren Cockrum of Sioux Falls, SD, Amy Cockrum of Sioux Falls, SD and Nicholas Hanisch of Renner, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Larsen and Judy Foster.
