He is survived by: his wife Garna Horst; his children, Greg Horst (Julie), Gwen Juhnke, Cherie Grant and Gyle Horst (Julie Kierst); his siblings, Janet Tvinnerman (Merv) and Leon Horst (Pat); and his grandchildren, Collin Juhnke (Nichole), William Juhnke, Garrett Juhnke (Felisha), Kassandra DeHaai (Grant), Carly Horst (Joseph Pessia) and Mitchell Horst.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's of South Dakota or the State of South Dakota Parks Dept.
