It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Walker (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on January 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arlan Gaalswyk; her son-in-law Ted Caruthers; her parents, Jacob Kars and Dena Kars; her sister Mary Ann Herman; and her parents-in-law, Joe, Marjorie Gaalswyk and Mabel Walker.
She is survived by: her son Brian Gaalswyk; her daughter-in-law Kelly Gaalswyk of Sioux Falls; her son Colin Gaalswyk; her daughter-in-law Tonya Gaalswyk of Brookings; her daughters, Darci Gaalswyk of Mankato, MN and Janell Hoffelt; her son-in-law Jason Hoffelt of Brookings; and her stepdaughter Melanie Caruthers of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by her many extended family members and close friends.
