She was predeceased by: her parents, Kanichiro Kanakubo and Suwa Kanakubo; her husband Robert Hennings; her daughter Roberta; her siblings, Koichi Kanakubo, Kazuko Kanakubo and Kiyoko Geovelli; and her son-in-law Mark Otten.
She is survived by: her children, John Hennings of Sioux Falls, Suwa Otten of Garretson and Sandra Kinder (Tracy) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Kaylee Amundson (Dennis) of Colton, Tyler Otten of Sioux Falls, Jacob Kinder of Sioux Falls and Erin Kinder of Sioux Falls; her great grandchildren, Blaine, Miles and Roen; her brothers, Jiro Kanakubo (Kanako) and Mitsuo Kanakubo (Tamami) of Yokosuka, Japan; and her brother-in-law Don Hennings (Andrena) of Sioux Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Prince of Peace Lofts BINGO Program.
