He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Ellingson and Inez Ellingson (Sorvig); his wife Karen Ellingson; his daughter Peggy Ellingson; and his brother Bruce Ellingson.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve, David Ellingson of Sioux Falls and Steven Ellingson (Mellinda) of Fort Washington, PA; and his granddaughter Kiersten Ellingson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
