With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldon Anderson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Anderson and Edna Anderson (Froseth); his wife Dorothy Elvira Ericson; his sister Arlyce Jacobson (Clair); his brother-in-law F. Robert Ericson; and his son-in-law Daniel Fondell.

He is survived by: his children, Janis Rueping (Frank) of Chicago, IL, Karin Youngberg (Mark) of Sioux Falls, Luanne Fondell of Dawson, MN, Mark Anderson (Andria) of Kodiak, AK and Julie Anderson Friesen (Curtis) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Emily Burger (Nick), Matthew Rueping (Samantha), Joel Youngberg (Carrie), Kia Hofer (Tommy), Krista Youngberg, Nathaniel Fondell (Ellen), Elisabeth Fondell (Ben Tokheim), Jonathan Fondell (Margaret), Anna Baskaran (Aashish), Jonas Anderson, Baxter Anderson (Abby), Hunter Friesen (Maggie Stock) and Elsa Friesen; his great grandchildren, Annie Burger, Sophie Rueping, Malin, Ehlin, Soren Youngberg, James, Nils, Tor, Svea Hofer, Everly, Oskar, Arlo, Iver Fondell and Ari Tokheim; his brother Vernon Anderson (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Joanne Ericson. He is also survived by four nieces and nine nephews.
