It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Farmer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sweeter and Mollie Sweeter (Meyer); her husband Robert Vern Farmer; her daughter Patty Montileaux; and her siblings, Gerhard, Harold, Elmer, Fred and Carol.

She is survived by: her children, Delores Madden of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Marilyn Miller (Thomas) of Bemidji, Minnesota, Jim Farmer (Linda) of Sioux Falls, Carol Nelson (Gary) of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, Arthur Farmer (Peggy) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Paul Farmer (Enid); her sons-in-law, Larry Montileaux of Sioux Falls and David Madden of Pocatello, Idaho; her siblings, Donald Sweeter (Helen) of Worthing and Dorothy Van Bockern of Canton; her sisters-in-law, Molly Sweeter of Milbank and Bernice Sweeter of Canton; and her close friends, Bev and Bob Boyd of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
