She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Vance and Lilly Vance (Eldridge); her husband Howard; her sons, Darrin Butler and John Erickson; her son-in-law Gale Esche; and her siblings, Kathleen Vance, David Vance and Carl Vance.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Cressman (Jacqueline) of Canton, SD, Patricia Esche of Canton, SD, Nina Nelson (Michael) of Sioux Falls, SD, Walter Cressman (Gwen) of Saginaw, MN, Keith Cressman (Annette), Dona Fernandes (Jason) of Port St and Eric Erickson of Port St. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
