He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGuire and Laura; and his siblings, Merlin, Tom, Margaret and Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his brother Bob; and his children, Dan, Tim, Laurie, Mark, Joel and Lisa. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
