He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Theis and Mary Theis (Stuckmeyer); his wife Loraine Duhr; his siblings, Elmer Theis, Angeline Ballweg, Marie Ballweg and Alvina Baier; and his grandson Chris Reeve.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Schumann (Brian) of Colorado Springs, CO, Pam Shepherd (John), Sharon Reeve, Terry Theis (Lou) of Belleville, WI, Todd Theis (Lisa) and Troy Theis; his stepchildren, Bryan Kegler and Dawn Ochs (Owen); and his sister Alice Pulvermacher (Jerry) of Middleton, WI.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
